A Renaissance Man.

Sophie likes to consider herself a jack-of-all-trades. In addition to acting, she paints, embroiders, makes resin art, and bullet journals. Here are some examples of her other artistic endeavors.

You spin my head right round.

Last summer I found a black record player on the street! I brought it home, and to my delight, it worked! So I decided to paint three of my favorite tarot cards (from left to right: The Wheel of Fortune, The High Priestess, and The Sun) on it!

I get by with a little help from my friends.

I had mused about getting into embroidery, but hadn’t taken the first steps. One of my friends got me a starter kit with a design template for a gift exchange, and the rest is history! I love embroidery because it’s an art form that was looked down upon for a long time as being “women’s work” and I’m taking that back and taking no shit!

Like a rainbow with all of the colors.

I began working with epoxy resin over quarantine. Typically, I make decorative trays, but I have been known to make keychains, coasters, and more. As much as I love resin, making the collages for the trays has to be my favorite part of this process! I even sold some of them on Esty! #smallbusiness
